Bangkok Day 1-2
Sa-wat dee! Welcome to Thailand. Thailand's bustling capital,

Bangkok is famous for its tuk tuks, khlong boats and street
vendors serving up delicious Thai food. Your adventure begins
with a welcome meeting at 6pm on Day 1. Please look for a note
in the hotel lobby or ask the hotel reception where it will take
place, and have your insurance details and next of kin
information ready for collection. Bangkok has so much to
offer those with time to explore, so perhaps arrive a day or so
early and take a riverboat to Chinatown and explore the
crowded streets, uncover the magnificent Grand Palace and
the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, wander down the tourist
mecca of Khao San Road, or indulge in some Thai massage.
After the meeting tonight, perhaps gather your fellow travellers
together and tuck into some world famous street food.

Bangkok's nightlife experiences are one of the main reasons so many people make the trip to this steamy metropolis year after year. One thing is certain, once the sun sets on Bangkok many parts of the city wake up and it seems every niche has been catered for. From sky-high cocktails with sweeping views to basement clubbing and even high-kicking, gender-defying theatrical shows, nightlife in Bangkok is as varied as it is unforgettable. And if you have the energy we will help you deal with your jetlag and go out on the town for an amazing bankok experience

Ko Chang Island Day 3-6
Koh Chang, known also as ‘Elephant Island’ named because of its elephant shaped headland, is Thailand’s third largest island after Phuket and Samui. It is located around 300 kilometres east of Bangkok in Trat Province, in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border. Koh Chang is part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park. Despite its increase in development and tourism in the past decade or so, it has retained its remote and rugged character. From jungle covered mountain peaks to sweeping bays, great waterfalls to flourishing coral reefs, beach huts to luxury resorts, Koh Chang has plenty to offer for everyone. With an area covering approximately 212 square kilometres, 70% of Koh Chang is covered in rainforests, mountains and beaches. The highest peak on the island is Khao Salak Phet, rising from the ground at 743 meters, and given its mountainous terrain there is an abundance of waterfalls. Visiting the Koh Chang waterfalls makes a nice break from the beach, with the main one at Klong Plu, the northern end of Klong Prao Beach. It is perfectly safe to swim in the pool or even dive off the rocks. There are another 6 or so waterfalls on the island, mostly on the eastern side of the island. Hiring a motorbike to explore that area would enable you to hunt them out, though some of them do take a good hike to reach. Another wonderful activity to enjoy is learning to cook real Thai food at a cooking school is a great way to spend a day on Koh Chang, There are a handful of schools, classes can be either all day or morning and afternoon. You will eat what you cook so everything is scheduled around mealtimes. The schools allow you to specify dishes which you would like to master and during the classes, you will also learn about ingredients and techniques. The schools will even pick you up from our hotel if needed

Bangkok Day 7-8
Arrive back in Bangkok and spend your day shopping or sightseeing before meeting again for a final night's dinner. Being a weekend, this is a great opportunity to visit the weekend market at Chatuchak, one of the biggest and busiest markets you will ever see. Your leader can also give you other ideas of what to do – places like Jim Thompson's House, the Grand Palace and Chinatown are all great to explore. There's a fantastic array of transport options available for getting around this traffic-choked city and although it's most efficient to stick to the canals, river, and Skytrain, a trip in a tuk-tuk is certainly an experience!

This Beautiful Thailand adventure comes to an end today. There are no activities planned for the final day and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time.
